Meslek Yüksekokulu Öğrencilerinde Sosyal Ağları Kullanım Düzeylerinin Farklı Parametrelere Bağlı Olarak Belirlenmesi


In this study, it was aimed to determine the current status of social media use cases and social media addiction levels of vocational school students and to associate this addiction with different demographic variables. The study group of the research consists of 147 students studying at the 1st and 2nd grade levels of three different departments of Dicle University Silvan Vocational School. The study was carried out within the scope of the screening model, which is one of the quantitative research methods. In the research process, a personal information form that collected demographic and social media addiction scale were used as data collection tool. Analysis techniques (frequency analysis, t-test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), correlation) were carried out with the analysis techniques determined in accordance with the purpose of the research and the results were interpreted. As a result of the analysis, it is seen that the majority of vocational school students have at least one social media account. The most addictions were determined in the Child Development department and the Electricity and Energy department students. In addition, it is among the other results of the research that vocational school students have low social media addiction.
